Oak & Iron Axe Throwing Trailer
Rules
  • What Forms of Payment do you Accept?
For booking your event we only accept major credit and debit cards. For public events and festivals we will also accept cash depending on the venue. We will announce payment methods on our events page!
  • What does my reservation actually get me?!?!
Don't worry! We got everything on our end! For a typical private event lets say for 2 hours...We transport and arrive with the trailer about 30min prior to your start time so that we can park, unhook, and set up the target, axes, ect. Then you get to kick your event off, your 2hrs begins and we will invite your guests to come up and get a quick demo/class. Verbal shaming, challenges of skill and peer pressure will be used to nudge any nervous participants to the line and give their best effort! Once the 2 hours is up we will congratulate the throwers, thank you for having us, and collect ourselves and our gear and be on our way and out of your hair! If you have any questions or concerns not covered in our FAQ please do NOT hesitate to give us call!
  • What are the age requirements to throw?
This one is a little subjective. Our rule of thumb is 12+ but if the mighty youngster can give a demo throw to show control and strength required to throw the full 12ft distance then our staff can deem them worthy of the glorious contest! All axe throwers between 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. All axe throwers are required to sign a waiver; for those 17 and under, the waiver must be signed by the parent/guardian as well.
  • What Should I Wear?
You must wear closed-toe shoes. No one wants to drop an axe on their pinky toe! Might we recommend plaid or flannel, depending on the season?
  • What is your cancellation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable. If something comes up, please call us and we can work with you to reschedule your time.
  • What are the space requirements needed?
The trailer itself needs a space 10ft wide, 20ft long, and 12ft high. So as long as we have room to maneuver the truck we should be good. The ground must be pretty close to level as well. The trailer has jacks located on the corners to assist in slight leveling but can not account for moderate to severe slopes.
  • What about booze?
Our coaches have the final and last word on your throwing. If they deem a thrower a possible safety risk to ourselves, themselves, or others they can and will ban that thrower from throwing. Safety is our top priority so even if it means making the guest of honor sit out then so be it. We know people are going to want to have a good time, just don't be getting sloppy.
